Hey yall
I am soo sick it isn't even funny! Yeah so don't laugh
I GOT BACK ON SUNDAY FROM ROCKRIDGE CANYON CAMPAIGNERS CAMP and it was SOOOOO AWESOME!! I have learnt a lot of stuff about God, stuff that i haven't even thought about! But it was so different i can't even explain it. But i am soo happy i went there, i mad a couple new friends and they are awesome! I talk to them a lot and he/they are going to the WEST EDMONTON MALL TRIP THIS MONTH, and i can't wait to see him/them!
I don't have much to say actually, im sick (cold) and tired and i really don't want to do anything haha but i haven't changed my blog in such a while that i thought i should write something.
Oh i know what i should write, i should talk about everything that happened at RockRidge Canyon! Okay, we left about 4pm after school on Friday, we took to 15 passenger vans, so there is around 30 of us (we were one of the biggest groups). Most of my best friends went and i'll name them. There was Alicia, Jessica, Katelyn, Mike, Seth, and Katie Green! Those were the best friends of mine, then the rest of the group were the Walker twins (don't know how to spell there names), Rebecca, and her friend who i forget her name (man im bad at this), and well actually i forget most of there names so you know what thats all im going to name.
We started off the trip by listening to Avril, YUK, so in other words for music...it was horrible. But then after that the music was awesome and we sang most of the way. I slept in the back with Katie Green and Seth and it was soo comfortable and when we were getting close they started turning up the music and yelling pretty much in out ears, haha just kinda annoying.
When we got there, we played a game that i can't remember what it was called cuz i was soo dang tired that i was ready to fall over and sleep right there and then.
Next morning we got ready and had some awesome breakfast of pancakes and cereal and fruit and other yummy stuff, then after that we had our two rotations of listening to someone speak for and hour and a half about God and stuff, there were different topics you could choose from. My friends and i picked Age Gerber (i think thats how you spell his last name) and he spoke about the GOLDEN RATIO! A topic i really never understood and never will. After that was rotation and it was in the same room so we didn't have to move. That one was on "how to get in a deep and comfortable conversation with friends about God" (i kinda made up that title cuz i really didn't know what the real name was for it), but it really helped because now i kinda understand on how to talk to my non-christian friends about God without like loosing there interest completely.
After was lunch and then we signed up for the BIGGEST ZIP LINE IN CANADA for 3:15pm. I went down that zip line in SUPER MAN STYLE, while video taping the whole way down with a commentary as well.
After was just free time and games and then the next day (sunday) we left for home at around 11am. I got a little car sick but it was good.
RRC canyon is like around 7 to 8 hours away from here, yeah its a long drive!
But yeah that was my weekend and i bet you got bored through half of it and haha i understand. I kinda explained everything.
Well i gotta go get some rest.
